As coronavirus completely disrupted the 2020 art fair and festival season, we, at Art as Healing Foundation (Art Fair Fun), have begun working on an online promotional group to help build awareness and sales for talented Michigan fine artists and artisans. Since no one really knows when we will be back to full force for the art fairs, we decided to take a proactive approach and develop an online system to help keep the local creative economy going during this time. We feel that pulling together a group of highly skilled artists and artisans and promoting them with the help of our sponsors can lead to a brighter future for the visual arts community. In order to sustain careers in the arts, we need to move forward into digital marketing and platforms. Even after coronavirus is under control and we can return to shows, having an online presence will remain important as things have forever changed and evolved in this direction.
